Manu Bio Lodge has over 3,065 hectares of protected tropical forest ranging from 500 to 1,200 m.a.s.l. Located in the Kosñipata Valley, the lodge is accessible by a 6-hour scenic drive from Cusco. Adjacent to a premier research station, the lodge is run by the Peruvian non-profit ACCA (Conservación Amazónica), with a team of resident biologists and specialists who live on-site to monitor biodiversity and sustainable agriculture. Every stay directly funds field-based conservation and the protection of pristine forests at the foothills of the Eastern Andes.

Situated at the meeting point of the Andes and the Amazon, the common areas are designed for birdwatching and observing the transition from the cloud forest to the lowland jungle.
The Manu Biological Station, operates adjacent to the lodge. Guests can visit active research projects, meet resident biologists, and understand the conservation work that their booking funds. The station serves as a hub for understanding the transition between the Andes and the Amazon.
